Are you a Facebook Page admin? Stumped why the "Use Facebook as ..." function doesn't allow you to post and comment on your pages as yourself? The feature is indeed there, and the default to always comment and post as the page is set for privacy, such that any official posts can't link to the individual's personal profile. However, differentiation is sometimes important to denote whether the comments, posts or any opinions made on the page are representative of the individual, or the company or organisation that the page represents. So, how do I comment on a Facebook page as myself? To comment on Facebook Pages as yourself and not as the page, complete the following steps:
The function 'Use Facebook as ---' now works when posting and commenting on pages you administrate. If you are an administrator of more than one Facebook Page, you will have to repeat this process for all pages that you administrate. Now, careful with those opinions, people! |
